The Soundpad tour hit the Bandra Fort amphitheatre on Saturday evening. Laura Marling and Mumford & Sons played one of the best gigs we’ve attended in ‘09. If you were in Mumbai and missed it *gasp*, fear not, we’ve got video!
‘Sigh No More’ is the title track of Mumford & Sons’ stellar debut album. One of the highlights of the record, the song features the Mumfords particularly engaging brand of new Brit folk. The band kicked off their set with this, the album opener. Driven by frontman Marcus Mumford’s (disarming demeanor) nasal croon and the quartet’s vocal harmonies, ‘Sigh No More’ instantly strikes an intimate chord, setting the stage for the band’s country-ish folksy goodness.

Can we have a video of the very last song of the show please? or the whole show in fact? I loved it, i absolutely bloody loved it. Sid’s set was embarrassing though.
@Bhanuj Unfortunately don’t have video of the entire show (incl the last song – ‘Wagon Wheel’). Will have more singles up though soon. Stay tuned, Laura Marling coming up!
Sorry Bhanuj … I went home and gave myself 13 lashings with a nice new leather belt. Needless to say …
Haha sorry man, but your set was quite off. I’d have thought you’d be more immune to criticism though, it’s a bit sad that you feel the need to respond with sarcasm to a random comment on a music blog.
Ohh, and i say this as a fan of your previous work. Not just Zero but HFC and to a certain extent ToT as well (though i think your live shows need just a little bit of work)
These guys are going to get pretty big this year. There’s a great interview with Mumford & Sons here http://bit.ly/59NykF
