Here’s what we knew about the Guns N’ Roses India tour till yesterday
- Mysterious Indian classical music and real estate event promoter Rhapsody Inc set up a website that claimed Guns N’ Roses would play the Palace Grounds, Bangalore on November 7.
- When we asked the company about the gig, they said all would be revealed on September 15.
- The site was then taken down for about 12 hours.
- When it came back up, the Nov 7 date had been removed and the phone number of the company’s Bangalore office had been taken off as well.
Today’s Asian Age/Deccan Chronicle features an interview with Raj Sinha, the director of Rhapsody Inc, who claims that the tour is most definitely on, and that Axl Rose, and some other guys, will in fact perform in India. He said
Yes, it is true that we are bringing Guns N’ Roses to India. As of now I can tell you that the Bengaluru concert has been confirmed. We’re still in talks with people in Mumbai and Delhi, so let’s hope that works out. However, there is a good chance we can take the band to Shillong as well. The band was supposed to have played there on September 19, but for some reason it didn’t work out.
The gig will be an Axl & Friends affair with Axl Rose being joined by Dizzy Reed, new guitarist DJ Ashba, a mystery person by the name ‘Troy’ and two other mystery dudes.
I can confirm that Axl Rose and Dizzy Reed will be there. DJ Ashba, their latest entrant, will be there. There will also be a person called Troy and two other members.
If that doesn’t inspire confidence in the hearts of young Guns N’ Roses fans, then we don’t know what will. Also, the picture above is a screenshot from the latest avatar of the Rhapsody Inc website. Just saying.

Wtf? Too good to be true but the ET also posted the same article. This is gonna be kickass. Ofc, I hate the new GNR, but an Indian tour with whatever remains is a huge thumbs up. And count Mumbai in.

Cool if GNR is coming to India, but I am sure it’s not going to happen in India at least. And if it happens I am sure they as well as we will have a great time there. But I don’t think if they turn up to India they will come to stage to perform. The band has so much of bad attitude that ones there was no towel backstage so axl dint go to stag. One of the another Sean where in download the bassist Tommy Stinson of the band was un happy with crowd because which he Stinson threw his bass, accidentally hitting one of the cameramen, and left the stage in middle of the song and walk off. Later he came back asked apologized to the crowd. This happened Download 2006. And because of the the procure from festival promoters he came back.
It seem’s like AXL is become some kind of joke.
It’s no more gun’s and roses it’s call AXL and friends.

Guns n’ Roses coming to India?
How can it be possible .
The first question arises in mind is “They didn’t break up ?”
the lead guitarist (slash) has also come up with a new band now!
how can this be possible? May be Axl Rose (Lead singer) is coming to India .
But this does not conclude that guns n roses is coming .
Can some1 tell me is it?
