INDIGO CHILDREN PREVIEW ‘TRAITORS AND FOOLISH FRIENDS’

Indigo Children

Indigo Children (formerly known as The Superfuzz) have posted a version of ‘Traitors And Foolish Friends’ on their MySpace. The band recently completed a three day, studio recording session with top British producer John Leckie as part of the British Council Soundpad thingy, and played a gig at the Blue Frog in support of the same.

‘Traitors’ is perhaps the band’s closest Wolfmother tribute. It has been performed by the band in its original lineup, and this version of the song does sound like a demo-ey, Aditya Paharia-era recording. It’s catchy and has just the right amount of start-stop melody working for it. Kinda like ‘Pyramid‘. And ‘Dimension‘. Did I mention ‘Woman‘?

Still, it’s a great watch live and if Leckie’s produced a studio version, that should be exciting.

Listen to ‘Traitors And Foolish Friends‘.
