Iron Maiden have confirmed that they will play one of the dates of the final leg of their ‘Somewhere Back In Time World Tour’ in Bangalore, in Feb 2009.
The band has been performing in venues around the world, transported in a customised Boeing 757 called Ed Force One. According to the band’s official website
Taking off in early February Maiden will make their first appearances in New Zealand for 16 years via Dubai and Bangalore followed by the long haul journey for a return to Mexico in some even larger venues and then finishing with an extended run through Central and South America to include countries and cities they have not visited before.
Iron Maiden hit Bangalore for the Royal Challenge Rock In India gig on Sun, Feb 15, 2009.
What better way to get over the loneliness of Valentine’s Day.
Also, given the paucity of international acts performing in India, Iron Maiden fatigue is probably something no one will worry about for at least the next couple of years.

hey guys! are iron maiden going to repeat the same songs they played in mumbai last year?!!!!!!!!!
if anybody knows the songs they are going to play plz advise. it looks like it is going to be a repeat show of last year
no its not gonna b d repeat…its “somewhere back in time tour”…so most songs are gonna b from dat album somewhr bak in time…..
@sanoj
its gonna be the same setlist apart from 2-3 songs changed….
this was the same tour tht kicked off in mumbai….
somewhere back in time refers to their earlier n best years (1982-1988) along with only one track from the 90’s (fear of the dark)
and not their album ’somewhere in time’
its almost the same setlist and the same stage….
up the irons!!!
