BRAHMA TAKE LEAF OUT OF METALLICA’S S&M
Mumbai based metal act Brahma are getting ready to do something totally, as Russell Peters would say, mind blasting. Come the third week of December, the band will team up with the Bombay Chamber Orchestra for a concert in the vein of Metallica’s S&M album.
Like a lot of metal bands that don’t photograph well (”Here’s what we’ll do - all black t-shirts, and black sunglasses.” “Yeah, that’s totally metchul bro!” “Wait, somebody needs a tattoo. Atif!”) though, the event is another opportunity for the band members to be cocky. Lead singer Devraj Sanyal told the Bombay Times
Also, we are one of the few… no, probably the only Indian heavy metal band to have not toned down the volume, compromised and not mixed electronica in our album.
They seem to be the only proper orchestra that can handle our music. It’s full of arrangements and a lot of different parts
More details when we hear ‘em.
