With Zero out of the scene, Them Clones find themselves in an interesting position. They are at the forefront of a scene slowly losing its ‘big’ acts. With a timely album release and some consistent touring in support, they can be the dominant Indian rock music force. Which means moving out of a day job, lots of fickle fans, music videos and ‘another’ Indian rock film. Farfetched? We already have fickle fans and Them Clones, if managed right, have the music to do it.
In a short interview with DNA, the band reveals their plan for an album release, one which previously was pretty ambiguous. Surojit Dev says
We hoping for a mid-October release. Hope the album turns out well.
Gangsta lingo aside, we hope so too.
The band will also launch their new website soon. But more about Indian band websites later.
