
The Express has a short interview with Delhi alternative rockers Them Clones. The band’s unplugged set at the MySpace launch gig was just the highlight of a brilliant evening, with the cream cheese being a piano version of Zephyretta (which you can hear on the band’s MySpace).
The interview concludes with this little ditty
Their MySpace flashes a banner announcing the imminent arrival of a debut album but Singh says that fans shouldn’t rush to stores just yet: “By the end of the year, perhaps. It’ll have a healthy mix of our popular tracks and new material.”
Of course the same MySpace page has a blog entry dated December 2006, claiming
Six months after drums were tracked at Empire Studios, Mumbai, the production for the yet untitled Themclones’ album has finally begun.
Oh these popular Indian bands! Just can’t trust ‘em with efficient scheduling.
Them Clones play at Hard Rock tomorrow.
